Lunch at Ying Thai, 110 Lygon St Carlton

Best green Thai chicken curry (2nd pic) I've had in a while. No
"chicken smell" and the meat was so soft. 9/10. :)
The other dish (1st pic) was tender beef filet with homemade sauce and
rice. Joe thinks it's about 7.5/10. Not bad but not great either.

*Update: unfortunately, the Thai green curry dish gave me severe food poisoning. :(

Word of caution - the lady behind the counter used the same hand to handle money and touch the food!

Sate Padang. Didn't like it at all. Lamb smelled suspect.

Nasi Goreng was pretty ok although the chicken looked suspect. Again, didn't dare to touch the meat.

$30 for the whole meal. Will not revisit due to lack of hygiene.
Also, waited like 45 mins for the nasi goreng!

Hokkien Noodles with Salt and Pepper Calamari. Calamari was ultra blend and too oily. 5/10.

Dinner at Menya Japanese Noodle Cafe aka Menya Ramen.

Ebi Don. Didn't like it. The prawns were too salty! 5/10.

Chawanmushi. Mediocre again. 5/10.

*Update: Unfortunately, Ying Thai 2 seems to have some hygiene issues. 

Had severe food poisoning during one of the visits. Eat there at your own risk.
