too Lemak which is what I like. 8/10!

Even though their food is great, I must minus points for their bad and
impatient service!

Lunch at Chillipadi Mamak Kopitiam, 295 Racecourse Rd,Kensington

Very average food here. Not all that authentic. We didn't want to come
back here but hunger took the better of us! 6/10 for both curry Laksa
and chicken rice. The curry Laksa looked big but very little noodles
in there.

Lunch at Kotaraya, 2107 Princes Highway, Clayton

They only serve Hainanese chicken rice from Fridays to Sundays. We saw
most of the customers ordering chicken rice so, J ordered the roast
chicken and I ordered the salt and pepper spare ribs. Superb! Will
recommend! 8/10! :)

Lunch at Chili Mamak Kopitiam, 295 Racecource Rd Kensington

The teh-c peng (ice tea) was too sweet. Had to add a lot of water to
make it "drinkable".

The prawn noodles were average. Joe thinks his own homemade one is
nicer. I didn't like the frozen prawns they used. 6.5/10.

The mamak mee goreng was also mediocre. Nothing specia. 6.5/10.

Dinner @ Laksa King.

Laksa King Fried Rice (with shredded duck meat). Joe rates it 6.5/10.
Five-spice chicken with rice. It's usually an 8/10 but if you order it when the restaurant is busy, they don't cook the meat properly. I could still see some 'rawness' in the chicken.
