portion still small. But overall, love the authenticity of the food
here. 7.5/10!
1) Yu Pian Mee Fen
2) Curry Laksa
An index of food places in Melbourne, Australia for future references! And a collection of my DH's cooking! (Pardon my poorly taken pictures by my iPhone).
1) Yu Pian Mee Fen
2) Curry Laksa
2) Yong Tofu Laksa. This is what they are popular for! The soup isn't
too Lemak which is what I like. 8/10!
Even though their food is great, I must minus points for their bad and
impatient service!
2) Assam fish. Delicious but small portion for that price. 7.5/10.
2) KL-style Har Mee. Not too bad. Too much sauce? 7/10.
3) Char Kway Teow. Prob the more authentic dish of the lot. 8/10.
4) Chicken satay. Chicken were soft and tender. Peanut sauce was good too! 8/10!
The seafood curry laksa was not bad. A little too oily though. $10.60. 7/10.
Joe liked the chicken chop. He gave it 8/10. $9.90.
The prawn noodles were average. Joe thinks his own homemade one is
nicer. I didn't like the frozen prawns they used. 6.5/10.
The mamak mee goreng was also mediocre. Nothing specia. 6.5/10.
Nasi Lemak (in packet). $4.50. 9/10. Love it! |
Rojak! Not bad. 7/10. |
Chicken Nasi Lemak. 8.5/10. |

Laksa King Fried Rice (with shredded duck meat). Joe rates it 6.5/10. |
Five-spice chicken with rice. It's usually an 8/10 but if you order it when the restaurant is busy, they don't cook the meat properly. I could still see some 'rawness' in the chicken. |
